What's in every question

More than a question bank,
A complete learning system.

Every item in MindVault is built to the same schema — the same structure that makes the difference between recognizing an answer and understanding why.

01

Understand why you’re wrong

Every distractor gets its own explanation—not merely the correct answer—so mistakes become useful study moments.

02

Remember what matters

High-yield learning points, mnemonics, and clinical pearls reinforce the concepts most worth recalling under exam pressure.

03

Focus on your weak areas

Domain-level performance tracking helps you see which areas need more attention and plan your study time accordingly.

04

Practice the way you want

Choose topics for focused study or build timed practice tests when you want a more exam-like session.

05

Built specifically for psychiatry

Questions are mapped to PRITE and ABPN domains rather than adapted from a general medical question bank.

06

Learn from authoritative sources

Questions cite DSM-5-TR, Kaplan & Sadock, Stahl’s, and other domain-appropriate references.

Track your progress

Know exactly where you stand.

See your strongest and weakest psychiatry domains, track performance over time, and focus study sessions where they can have the greatest impact.

PRITE® is approaching. There is still time to identify weak areas and study strategically.

FAQ

Has the question bank been reviewed for accuracy and quality?
Yes. A sample of MindVault content has been formally reviewed by board-certified, fellowship-trained psychiatrists across multiple subspecialties, using a structured review methodology. We look forward to sharing more as this work progresses.
Does this help with the ABPN certification exam too?
Yes. MindVault content is aligned to both the PRITE and ABPN certification exam blueprints, so the same question bank supports preparation for both. Our content-validation study is scoped to PRITE-relevant content; we have not yet conducted equivalent outcomes research specific to ABPN performance.
How long will it take to complete all the questions?
We recommend doing 30 questions per day. At that pace, you'll finish all the questions in 132 days, or about 4.5 months.
Is this a recurring subscription?
Yes, it will auto-renew at the end of your subscription period. You can cancel at any time.
How is this different from BoardVitals?
Our question count is the first difference: We have 3,800+ vs. around 1,450+ for both. Our annotation depth also sets us apart. MindVault builds each question with individual explanations for every distractor, five to six key learning points, a mnemonic, and a clinical pearl.
